SeaCountry RMV Floorplan 3
It’s a brand new high-density single family detached home, and it has quite a story to tell.

First, it’s built by Buck Bennett, a homebuilder with a great reputation and President of Sea Country Homes. If you check out the About Us page of Sea Country’s website, it tells the story of how a small builder can compete and excel against a sea of large national builders (and well written, to boot).

This floorplan (the Meadows plan) comes from Buck’s newest project — Sea Country in Mission Viejo, opened in late June of this year in a brand new and amazing master planned community. Sea Country’s 3 model park is leading the way in sales because of product like this.

Designed by one of my favorite architects, Mike Woodley out of Denver, CO, the Meadows plan is a great example of what I refer to as “distinctive design” — the art of taking a production home and making it look like nothing you’ve quite seen before, and very few architects do this as well as Mike Woodley.

At about 2,000 sq. ft., it offers what most two-story buyers want in today’s new home — a great room only design, but with a downstairs bedroom/den option plus a generous second floor master bedroom suite (4 bedrooms in all and each with its own bath!) and a two-car garage — in this case ‘His’ and ‘Her’s’ garages! It has a good deal of value-engineering, but offers the buyer lots of sizzle, too — from the covered courtyard and curved staircase at the entry to more practical touches like a well thought-out laundry room.

But the real story behind the Meadows is something you just can’t see from the floorplan — the land plan! Though built in a true single family detached arrangement, these homes come in at a rather amazing 12 units per acre! Top it all off with some great model merchandising from Design Line Interiors, some impressive exterior elevation treatments and you’ll get a picture of why this new project is doing so well.

If you want to see many more examples of cutting edge architecture, today’s newest product trends, great merchandising and spectacular sales office ideas, then join us in September for what promises to be a great tour.
